Ice cream in a bag scientific lab report

Hypothesis
It will turn into ice cream.
The ice will melt.
It will taste yummy.
The milk might be chunky and icy.

Materials

  • Milk, sugar, ice, salt, vanilla,
  • Cup
  • Spoons
  • zip-lock bags 2 different sizes

Procedure

  1.  In a small resealable plastic bag, combine whipping cream, sugar, and vanilla. Push out excess air and seal.
  2. Into a large resealable plastic bag, combine ice and salt. Place small bag inside the bigger bag and shake vigorously, 7 to 10 minutes, until ice cream has hardened.
  3. Remove from bag and enjoy.

Results
the ice cream turned out great for us it was cold mushy and squishy, the ice melted i think and the salt dissolved. The milk, ice, salt, and sugar all mixed to make ice cream

Data and analysis
i think everyone's was the same as ours cause we had the same ingredients. Some other people’s was runny and others was solid

Conclusion: when we got the ice cream we unzipped the bags we got the spoons and we tasted the ice cream i didn't taste the ice cream because it might have tasted gross and i had a straw the whole time and i learnt that ice cream doesn't need a freezer because there is ice in the bag with salt and sugar and vanilla
